We are looking for a UX Designer / Information Architect who can help us deliver beautifully simple but immensely powerful mobile and web services that will be used by millions of families. Projects encompass a range of technologies, from pre-release smartphones to scalable web technologies and pioneering the latest in mobile location software. Location Labs operates the world’s most successful mobile location-based personal safety services, powering more than a dozen successful products. Recent accolades include: 2010 Inc. 500 list of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies and San Francisco Business Journal’s “Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies”.
You will help create, shape, and focus the user experience and interactions on the latest versions of our industry-leading family safety services, deployed on nearly a dozen carriers, including some of the largest carriers in the world. We power family locator services like AT&T FamilyMap, Sprint Family Locator, and T-Mobile FamilyWhere, as well as No Texting While Driving solutions such as T-Mobile DriveSmart Plus and Sprint DriveFirst. And we have two new product lines, as well as a HUGE family safety brand, launching later this year. This position is situated within the User Experience Group and will be working alongside other talented and exceptional user experience and visual designers. The main deliverables assigned will be development of userflows, wireframes, supporting specification document.
