We are looking for experienced test automators who will come in and drive an automation initiative across our upcoming products.  You will be recommending tools, enhancing a hybrid framework(built in python), and  working with senior engineers to architect and implement ongoing tests in our test and deployment cycle.

This is a three part position:

1) lead a team fleshing out automation test tools 

• This is primarily testing a Java stack web application in an Agile environment.  The framework ant test libraries are written in python. You should come in with a good knowledge of the architecture and implementation of the automation system. An understanding of Continuous Integration is desirable.

2) develop & implement tests for an automated environment or revamp existing regression tests to a more suitable format for automation as necessary

• we have extensive, well documented manual test cases
• we have team members who know the product in & out
• we have unit tests
• we have some automated tests
• you will build out more automated tests, and help design a classification system for the more extensive tests

3) train existing talented QA team members on implementation for the automated framework

• we have a great team of testers, and want them to support and assist you in this implementation
• you need to be comfortable establishing process & delegating tasks

Requirements:

• extensive experience with test automation
• a strong engineering background (experience counts more than a degree)
• experience with SQL, UNIX, &  JAVA technologies
• Python scripting skills
