Responsibilities:

• Solve design problems and produce high-quality solutions across a variety of media; web and mobile, including iphone, android, tablets, HTML5 etc.
• Work collaboratively with product teams and function as an advocate for visual design on projects
• Brainstorm with product managers and user experience designers to create innovative application designs
• Define visual language across applications
• Continue to pursue your passion for design and share your inspirations with the design team

You will help create, shape, and focus the visual and interaction design on the latest versions of our industry-leading family safety services, deployed on nearly a dozen carriers, including some of the largest carriers in the world. We power family locator services like AT&T FamilyMap, Sprint Family Locator, and T-Mobile FamilyWhere, as well as No Texting While Driving solutions such as T-Mobile DriveSmart Plus and Sprint DriveFirst.

This position is situated within the Visual Design Group, reporting to the Creative Director and will be working alongside other talented and exceptional user experience and visual designers. The main deliverables assigned will be development of design directions and defining visual language across applications.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Design degrees are nice, but a stellar portfolio and relevant experience are just as crucial
• 3+ years of experience (if you're entry level and have a killer portfolio, show us)
• Portfolio with outstanding examples of web and mobile design; print design is a plus
• Strong understanding of user experience design
• Demonstrated proficiency in the tools of the trade, Photoshop, Illustrator; HTML is a plus
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with our team of user experience designers, software engineers, front-end developers and product managers
• Superior presentation, oral, written and communication skills
